Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: May 2, 2026

MaterialMath is free to use. No paywall, no email gate, no premium tier.

To keep the lights on, some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link to Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon, or another retailer and buy something, we may earn a small commission. The price you pay is the same. The retailer pays us, not you.

What this changes about our recommendations

Nothing.

We recommend the bag size, the gravel type, the paver brand that we would buy ourselves. Where two products are roughly equivalent and one has an affiliate program and one doesn't, we'll list both. Where one product is genuinely better, we say so. Affiliate program or no affiliate program.

If we ever recommend something that turns out to be wrong, email us. We will fix it. The math being right matters more than the commission.

What disclosures we make

We are an Amazon Associate. We are part of the Home Depot Affiliate Network through Impact. We may add other affiliate programs over time.

Per FTC guidelines, we are required to tell you about these relationships. This page is that disclosure.
